Accessibility Litigation

Source: Wanau-elearning

Some of you may be interested in reading about recent litigation involving a student with a learning disability, a US university involved in online education (Capella), and claims that their learning management system (WebCT) is not accessible.

The best summary of the case and surrounding issues is presented in an article carried in the Higher Education Chronicle last month. See http://chronicle.com/free/v51/i49/49a03301.htm

The complaint made by the student can be found at http://www.employmentlawyers4employees.com/lamarca.pdf (PDF only).
